The city of Lucena is hosting the exhibition El alma deSgranada at the Palace of los Condes de Santa Ana. The event is organized by El Legado Andalusí Foundation in collaboration with the City Council of Lucena, through its Tourism Department.

The exhibition depicts everyday life in all its facets from the year 1013 to 1833, using realistic scenography of Andalusia’s most important monuments and historical sites. These are brought to life with actors in period costumes and props corresponding to the activities they represent.

This traveling exhibition, which has visited over forty locations across Andalusia, Europe, and the Arab world, features around thirty photographs in Lucena, including two highlighting the city’s most significant sites along the Route of the Caliphate.

The initiative is part of El Legado Andalusí’s cultural tourism promotion program along the Routes of El legado andalusí.

The exhibition is open to the public until 31 October.
